Iphone 6s and 6s plus - 3d touch really make a difference (video)

Force touch might not be apple exclusive technology but Apple have made it their own with a very beautifully design UI. While other Android vendor such as Huawei still trying to find ways to use the technology, apple seems to hit it on the first try thanks to the implementation of "right click" with 3D touch. With easy access and multi option integrated to the way force are applied to the screen, apple have made a new way of interacting with your mobile devices.

IOS 8.1.1 update available - Performance improvememt for older device




Cheer up all iPhone 4s and ipad 2 owner, Apple has released the latest update 8.1.1 to help make our old device better again.

The update size varies from device from as low as 60+ MB on iPhone 4s to 360+ MB on ipad mini retina. On ipad 2 the size is around 130 MB.

Apple has been on the news for some bad reason relating to their previous update (8.0.1) that somehow making iPhones unusable, Apple dimisses the report saying that the issue only affected a few percent of the overall global user.

US Gov issue security alert for iOS - "Masque Attack" Technique


US Government Department of Homeland security through its US-CERT (Computer emergency readiness team) issue a warning on 13th November regarding a technique labeled "Masque Attack" that allow an attacker to substitute malware for a legitimate iOS app under a limited set of circumstances.

This technique can be applied and affected systems running iOS 7.11, 7.12, 8.0, 8.1 and 8.1.1 Beta and that would actually means almost the majority of currently running iphones and ipads.

Shooting in the Dark - Nokia Lumia 925 vs Iphone 6 Plus vs Honor 6

Low light photography was something that mobile phone manufacturer are pushing for since 2013. Nokia Lumia 925 and HTC one (M7) was then the benchmark for other mobile phone manufacturer to compete.

After over a year, many mobile phone manufacturer seems to be able to close the gap or even surpasses the capability of Lumia and HTC one device.

We pitted 2 recently launched phone that is Honor 6 and Iphone 6 Plus with Nokia’s Lumia 925 in our simple low light photography test.
