Now that the biggest event for mobile has passed us, MWC 2015 Barcelona would still be in everyone's mind until the next one. There are enough news that came out from MWC that can fill this blog for a year. With launches, presentation and showcases filling the expo floor, there is too many news that should not be ignored.

We understand that the ammout of news that came out from MWC 2015 is too much for some, so we took this opportunity to list the top 3 most standout news that came out from this year MWC 2015. This is in no particular order as all these 3 are from different segments and would serve different needs. Even though they are different, but each of them really standout in their own criteria.

Lets start with the 3 most significant news that came out from MWC 2015

1. Samsung's Exynos 7

Samsung has always been using chipsets and SoC from Quallcomm and when there are news that they are not using Qualcomm in their latest flagship, a lot of eyebrows were raised and even cause a small dent in Quallcomm stock price. There many reasons that were speculated by journalist around the world and we now know which SoC is replacing the Snapdragons. Meet the new Exynos 7, the first 14nm 64 bit ARM cortex CPU. A lot of news were on the smartphone that this chip were used, the Samsung Galaxy S6 but we are more interested in the Chipset itself.

This new Exynos 7 (Exynos 7420) in short is a technological marvel by itself, by using smaller 14nm FinFET technology, Samsung have manage to bump the clock speed for CPU, Memory and even the GPU from what is running on the Snapdragon 810. By utilizing 14nm architecture, the SoC would be atleast 35% less on power consumption with the same amount of load and that could be shown in the Samsung Galaxy S6 battery life.

Samsung seems to be very confident in the latest SoC that the Galaxy S6's battery is only rated at 2600mAh that is still considered small in current flagship models. Only time will tell if the technological breakthrough used in the Exynos 7420 would be translated into battery life as it should.

2. HTC Vive VR Headset

This is the best VR headset by far if you believe all the press release coming out from MWC 2015. The child of HTC and Valve marriage seems to be the perfect child that everyone wants one. The system would be able to track your every movement and projected the best virtual reality experience up to now with the full dual full HD display in front of your eyes running at 90Hz refresh rate.

Its like The Matrix is starting to be a reality for some and it the biggest breakthrough in VR since the early 90s. The setup is simple, there is 2 movement sensor that would need to be place at 90 degrees angle, dual controller for both hands and the beautiful dual HD display strap on your face.

It might be too much for some but this could be the benchmark for every other manufacturer in the world to beat and that is a very high benchmark
