Meizu M2 Note - Now available in Malaysia thru lazada for RM699.00

Meizu's new 5.5 inch smartphone is now available for purchase in Malaysia exclusively for RM699 (USD$164.00) from today. The latest but may not be the better version of Meizu Note series have its own pro and cons if pitted together with the earlier M1 Note. It may not be better in the benchmarking section but the additional support of dual LTE (SIM 1 and SIM 2) and expandable storage was something that the earlier Meizu M1 Note are lacking in a big way.

The new Mediatek MT6753 also pack a better power consumption figure with respectable numbers even if it is not as high as the earlier MT6752 powered M1 Note. You guys can read it further here where we pitted the MT6753 vs the Kirin 620 that powered the Honor phone series and M1 Note vs M2 Note on our earlier article.

M2 Note still pack the same beautiful full HD IGZO screen from sharp protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that give a high 403ppi making this screen as one of the best available in the price range.

The biggest difference is the Meizu Flyme OS is not powered by Android 5.1 while the earlier Meizu M1 Note Lollipop update is not yet available with no tentative date given by Meizu. Even with the updated android, Meizu Flyme OS is too "Mainland China" where most of the system apps such as theme or customization is still in Chinese where it is not really friendly for other English speaking countries.

This could be another best selling phone by Meizu and propelled the company even to greater heights that what the earlier MX4 and M1 Note could do. This would surely make other phone manufacturer to stand up and take notice of this small company from now on.
