Honor 4C and Honor 4X - EMUI 4.0 Beta registration is now available (Android 6.0 Marshmallow)

Good news to all Honor 4X and Honor 4C users, the Android 6 (Marshmallow) BETA registration for both device is now available. With these 2 phones added, we can assume that Official EMUI 4.0 will be available in the near future for almost all Honor phones released since 2014. Kudos to Honor for providing updates to these phones as its already have 2 major version since release with EMUI 3.0 (Kitkat) and EMUI 3.1 (Lollipop).

Marshmallow bring additional feature and security updates to EMUI that have seen to be one of the best update records available for non flagship device from a lower cost brand. It is hard for updates to be release by manufacturer of lower cost phones as most of them would prefer to sell new phones if users wanted new updates.

This beta registration is only open for Malaysia variant of Honor 4X (CHE2-L11) and Honor 4C (CHM-U01)

The experimental build of Android Marshmallow 6.0 / EMUI4.0 will be release in the form of OTA (over the air) to registered Honor devices that runs on latest lollipop version
Honor 4X  (Che2-L11C636B360)
Honor 4C (CHM-U01C636B360)
