Huawei Honor 6 Plus - Kirin 925 and Dual camera

On th 16th December, Huawei will be launching their latest flagship model under the Honor family in Honor 6 Plus. The phone, fomerly known as Honor 6x will be powered by the latest Kirin 925 SoC, an upgrade of the current Kirin 920 found on Honor 6. Kirin 925 and Kirin 920 come from a similar line of Kirin SoC without the support for 64 bit. The phone also packed with 3GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a hefty 3500mAh battery.

Honor 6 Plus, as the name suggested would be a slightly bigger phone than Honor 6 where Honor 6 Plus will have 5.5" screen, a slight half an inch upgrade. What make the biggest difference is the SoC in Kirin 925, this might be the last upgrade made on Kirin current ARMv7 architecture before Kirin 930 that will run on ARMv8.

Gizmochina hinted that the latest Kirin 925 will be having upgraded clock speed as the architecture of Kirin 92x can actually run at maximum 2.0Ghz, the current Honor 6's Kirin 920 is clocked at maximum 1.7Ghz. Another phone that run on Kirin 925 is the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 that was clocked at 1.8Ghz, a slight bump from Kirin 920 1.7Ghz.

On the camera side, The 6 plus would be having Dual camera configuration as previously seen in HTC One smartphone. The dual camera, two 8 MP BSI will work in hand to produce incredible depth where one of the lense would capture the image while the other one will capture the depth. This additional depth will give owner the ability to refocus photo without loosing any detail. Photo comparison seems to have "leaked" before the launching with comparison done with Iphone 6 Plus, Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 as reported by Phonearena

Few more days to go for the official unveiling and we will update this once we have more detail.
