IOS 8.1.2 update available for download

Apple have released the latest update for iOS in version 8.1.2 and would be available for users globally. This may not be the update many iOS user are waiting for as the update size, 25 MB is to small and would be consider as only a minor update. iOS 8 has been the major source of issues in apple devices where scores of user have reported multiple problems since the ios 8 update arrived.

The change log on this update show that this update targeted specifically on the itunes store issue, where purchased ringtone went missing from owner devices. Apple also made a dedicated website for the restore of purchase ringtones at itunes.com/restore-tones . There is no list of "bugs fix" released for this update and that show that this update is mainly for the itunes ringtone missing issue.

The last update, update 8.1.1 does help in older hardware's performance after the initial ios 8 almost crippled those devices. This update seems to be a more targeted and minor update while there are still multiple published issue raised by owners from all over the world.

Since the news of ios 8.2 beta is available for developers, users around the world are waiting for fixes that could eliminate most of the current issue. This update might not be what they are waiting for and those users might still have to wait a little bit longer. If you haven't received this update, you can check for it manually by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

What do you think of this update and what would you expect from the next 8.2 update?
